Meet Our Staff

Meta Mueller

Meta Mueller is a committed public servant with an impressive track record in community organizing and advocacy for underserved populations. Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan, she attended the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, and boasts substantial experience in small business and commercial property management and new home construction.

Meta previously took on critical leadership roles on the Will County Board, including Majority Leader and Chair of Capital Improvements and IT. Her influence extended further as the former President and Vice President of the Forest Preserve District of Will County and as a Member of the Will County Emergency Telephone System Board. She is also a member of the board for NaperPride in Naperville, Illinois.

Serving as Chief of Staff for Representative-Elect Murri Briel in Illinois House District 76, Meta is enthusiastic about collaborating with the community to effectively address their needs and support local families.

Laura Jackson

Laura Jackson, M.S.Psy., C.A., has completed twenty-seven credits as a Business Psychology doctoral student focusing on Organizational Leadership at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her areas of expertise include Public Policy Leadership, Psychological Capital (PsyCap), Positive Psychology, and qualitative and quantitative research methods. She also holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in human sexuality, a graduate certification in Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), and national credentials as an advocate for victims of crime.

With a decade of experience working with vulnerable populations, Laura has developed strong skills in psychological first aid, policy advocacy, team collaboration, and trauma-informed care. She holds multiple certifications in mental health first aid, skills for psychological recovery, and trauma-informed care. Laura is dedicated to empowering others and driving meaningful social change.
